A slight seasonal diversion!
While working on the next installation of the new construction blog I am distracted by the fact it is the first day of summer and around my house, in Bryn Mawr, that is a milestone of my sheer determination to make it through another Minnesota winter. I'm a California transplant with sea water in my veins! That all being said, I've decided to hold off on the instructional blog regarding the "Bids and Estimates" process in building your new home and I will divert to my two favorite subjects; wine and outdoor spaces! It's a short season here and we have to get started.
First off, I'm a proud resident of the Bryn Mawr neighborhood in Minneapolis and I have a secret gem of a patio that begs to be enjoyed on the warm evenings of summer. I'm speaking of Sparks - their wood burning oven and thoughtful wine list are within walking distance for the residents of Bryn Mawr. The neighborhood has embraced its eclectic menu and knowledgeable staff. Happy hour each day offers half price bottles of wine including a wine I have reoccurring dreams of - Sauvion Rose d'anjou - a French Rose' that fills my glass many a time during the summer. The French know Rose'. Oh, also Sparks wood fired pizzas are excellent!
Summer life in Bryn Mawr also includes the neighborhood coffee destination near and dear to my heart- Cuppa Java. A compact menu including homemade sandwiches, soup, fresh baked goods and hand-crafted coffee beverages covers all the necessities of active residents. I like to pick up a depth charge and a breakfast sandwich on a balmy weekend morning and head to Theodore Wirth Park with Blueberry and Sal (my fur kids) in tow. Cuppa Java also offers a list of beer and wine to accompany your meal. Their happy hour prices can't be beat with a nice selection of recognizable wines and beers. They do have outdoor seating and you will often find a furry companion enjoying a rest in the shade with their humans.
The village atmosphere of Bryn Mawr offers a home buyer the convenience of city living with the community feel of the tight knit neighborhood it is. Real estate in Bryn Mawr has continued to increase in value and the fabulous architectural options-Craftsman, Cottage, and Bungalow styles - appeal to many people looking for that unique living experience. We are surrounded by one of the largest park systems and its diverse wildlife can be seen often in residents backyards. Bike to work, bike to the Twins game, or stay in the neighborhood and enjoy its offerings, Bryn Mawr has something for everyone this summer.
Come talk to me about Bryn Mawr real estate. I'll be the girl with the glass of rose' and the best seat on the patio!
